What is Sign, Lighting & Guarding Training?

This programme is designed for Managers, Supervisors and Operatives who are required to plan, organise, direct, control and manage the safe free flow of traffic through roadworks in rural and urban situations with minimum risk and delay to others. This is in accordance with Chapter 8 Road Traffic Signs Manual, Department of the Environment

Who Should Attend?

SLG training is a legal requirement of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction Regulations) 2006 Reg. 97. Construction operatives who engage in work involving working on roads, near roads, on pavements, footpaths or any activities that may interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic must attend an SLG course

Certification

Successful applicants will receive the CSCS skilled operator card

What Do I Need To Bring With Me?

Candidates for the Sign, Lighting & Guarding Course must bring with them;
2 passport size photographs
Valid PPS Number
Valid Safe Pass Card
Proof of Address
Proof of PPS Number
Proof of Date of Birth
