Health and Safety Induction

The Health and Safety Induction can help employees get a brief overview over the main occupational hazards: Slips, Trips and Falls, Manual Handling and Fire.

Assessment

On completion of all modules you will be presented with a brief examination. You must achieve a pass mark of 60% from 15 questions in order to gain certification. The 15 questions are taken randomly from a bank of questions for each examination. This course is fully certified and in line with legal requirements.

Office Ergonomics Awareness

This certified online course is given in accordance with the guidelines of the Safety Health and Welfare Act (General Applications) 2007. By law, anyone using a visual display unit for more than 1 hour per day must have an office ergonomics assessment carried out. This course covers the topics relevant to setting up and maintaining a safe digital screen equipment workplace in an office environment.

Assessment

This course contains an online self-assessment at the end of the course, followed by an online certification exam. The self-assessment does not count towards the final examination marks but simply gives you an idea of how you are doing. On successfully passing the final certification exam you will be automatically issued with a passport certificate. Your full certificate will be issued together with your workplace assessment report.

All Manual Handling Courses in Ireland do legally require a visual assessment so after completing the online course you will need to be visually assessed by one of our Level 6 certified assessors. On successfully completing the online course and passing the visual assessment you will be issued with a certificate.
