Description: Designed to raise the standard of safety awareness in the Construction Industry, this 1 day course ensures that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training with the aim of making a positive contribution to the prevention of accidents and avoidance of health hazards.

Experienced Agricultural Tractor Driving

This tractor driving training course covers the safe driving of a tractor, pre-use maintenance, safety checks, recognition of the controls and instruments.

During the assessment the tractor is to be driven safely around a course including reversing with a tractor.

Course content:

  • Legal aspects of Tractor operation
  • Identify any hazards specific to the site, task and machine
  • Identify and explain function of all instruments and controls on the machine

  • Attaching an implement to 3 point linkage

Certification: On successful completion of this tractor driving course and assessment candidates will obtain a Donaghy Safety Training Card

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be a least 16 year
  • Previous Experience is required

Emergency First Aid (Defib & CPR) *PHECC Accredited Trainer*

The course is designed to allow participants to attain a basic understanding of key First Aid situations and their treatment. It will enable participants to act as a back up to First Aid Responders in an occupation setting or in response to an emergency prior to the arrival of more qualified personnel.

FAR (First Aid Responder)

First Aid Response (FAR) is a new training standard developed by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council of Ireland. The objective of FAR is to improve and replace the current Occupational First Aid course and have a standardised syllabus nationwide. FAR also includes the full Cardiac First Response Community Standard.

This course is for anyone wanting to learn how to recognise and care for people with life-threatening injuries before the arrival of healthcare practitioners.

Experienced Forklift Training

This course is designed to create awareness for experienced and non-experienced operators. This course is delivered through theory and practical works in which the applicant will be assessed on the safe manoeuvring of a Forklift.

MEWP’s are widely used in the workplace and are becoming the preferred method of access. However, operators often use this machinery without any training. This course trains operatives in safe procedures and methods of operating a MEWP.
